The Washington Examiner reports:
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh told his audience Monday that new scans show his lung cancer has gotten worse. “It’s tough to realize that the days where I do not think I’m under a death sentence are over,” Limbaugh told his audience as he fought back tears.
“We all know we’re going to die at some point. When you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it.”
“The scans did show some progression of cancer,” Limbaugh added. Limbaugh said he and his doctors have been forced to “tweak” the treatment plan in hopes of “keeping additional progression at bay for as long as possible.” “Stage 4 is, as they say, terminal,” Limbaugh noted.
Note the sympathy from his chief competitor.
Limbaugh’s crying about his cancer on air! Worst 15 minutes in radio history! Spilled a large coffee all over counter and floor. I PROMISE MY AUDIENCE THIS- I WILL NOT DRAG YOU DOWN WITH ME! Best wishes RUSH, but stop and leave the stage with dignity.
