The Charleston Post & Courier reports:
Sheri Biggs, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and Air National Guard Lt. Col., beat out Trump-endorsed pastor Mark Burns in South Carolina’s 3rd District Republican runoff June 25.
Biggs narrowly beat Burns with 51 percent of the vote to his 49 percent, according to unofficial state election results that saw 55,173 votes cast.
The runoff put former president Donald Trump and Gov. Henry McMaster — longtime friends and political allies — on opposite sides as voters chose Biggs, a more establishment candidate, over hard-right opponent Burns.

Wow— Trump-backed Mark Burns (R) loses to Sheri Biggs (R) in #SC03
Biggs is the more moderate candidate, so this is both a win for the political center and a big defeat for Trump pic.twitter.com/ChBVuwGts1

This is one of the scariest videos I’ve seen.
I don’t know what more to say.
Candidate Mark Burns (a Trump ally), running for SC-04, calls for the execution of lgbtq/trans people.
He uses “grooming” to justify.
He lays out exactly how it should be “legally” done.
Genocide. pic.twitter.com/uqJVPMYTMj
