The Hill reports:
President Trump on Wednesday displayed a map that he said reflected Hurricane Dorian’s original path, but the image appeared to be manually altered with a marker to show the storm’s trajectory continuing toward Alabama.
Trump later told reporters that he did not know anything about the changed map, but was adamant that original forecasts called for Alabama to be impacted by the hurricane.
The map featured what appeared to be a marker-drawn addition to the end of the Dorian’s previously expected path, extending it toward the Gulf of Mexico and the southern edge of Alabama.
Just in case it’s not clear, the president of the United States is literally faking hurricane maps with a motherfucking Sharpie. GET THE NET.

This is incredible. The White House doctored the map to retroactively justify Trump saying the hurricane will hit Alabama. https://t.co/4yciEnFQCu

Trump just took an official map and drew an extension on it to make it look like Hurricane Dorian was headed for Alabama.

REPORTER: That map you showed us today, it looked like it almost had like a Sharpie on it.

President Trump says he doesn’t know about the hurricane map being altered by a Sharpie. He also insisted there are “other, better maps” that show Alabama was in the area that could be affected by Hurricane Dorian, though the weather service said that’s not true.

Here is Trump giving an update on #HurricaneDorian. If you blow up the map he holds up, you can see he used a black marker to extend the path of the hurricane to include Alabama so he still doesn’t have to admit his tweet from a few days ago was wrong. pic.twitter.com/JCQbGKpalD pic.twitter.com/GYrSB2aX51

A NOAA spokesperson just declined to address Trump’s doctored Dorian map. All questions being referred to the White House.
