Nutbag PA Lawmaker Intros Resolution Calling For Prayer Because The Virus Is God’s Punishment For Sin

What are politicians doing to help people in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak? Republican State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz of Pennsylvania is doing her part by filing a bill, House Resolution 835, calling on everyone to pray and not eat.

Because that’s how you defeat a virus in crazytown. This is theocratic wish fulfillment. Just read through the language for “A State Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer.”

Borowicz literally says that God sent this pandemic as a “punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins.” The resolution isn’t about the pandemic. Borowicz is just using the virus as an excuse to shove her Christian faith upon everyone else.

Borowicz last appeared on JMG when she delivered a House invocation that cited Jesus 13 times just before the swearing-in of Pennsylvania’s first female Muslim lawmaker. Hit the link and read her utterly bonkers resolution.
