Snopes reports:
On July 4, 2021, Hobby Lobby began to trend on Twitter after the company placed an ad in multiple newspapers across the country that promoted Christian ideals. The top of the ad read: “One Nation Under God.” The company uploaded a PDF of the ad to its website, tweeted about it, and posted it on the Hobby Lobby Facebook page. In Hobby Lobby’s “One Nation Under God” full-page ad, a Bible verse was printed, followed by three columns of quotes about Christianity.

Hobby lobby took out a full page ad in the Register-Guard this morning. Talking about how America should only be led by Christians. Absolutely frightening. Please remember that Michaels, Joanns & your local craft/hobby shops are always an excellent place to spend your money.

Remember, evangelicals –
Hobby Lobby
is SO against
women’s reproductive choice
and US labor
they outsourced manufacturing
to a country
that forces women
to have abortions.Enjoy your shopping.
And those low low prices.— John Fugelsang (@JohnFugelsang) July 4, 2021
Reminder that Hobby Lobby has always been terrible:
– Forced employees to work during state mandated covid shutdowns
– Won a lawsuit at the Supreme Court to deny employees contraception
– Prosecuted for smuggling looted Biblical artifacts from Iraq https://t.co/4uGy4u6o55— Qondi ? ? ?????? (@QondiNtini) July 4, 2021
Dear hobby lobby: this nation was expressly founded for religious freedom. To not be a Christian nation, but to be a nation open to all faiths or no faith. Take your “ christianity should be the only religion” and shove it up your Nazi crafts.

Hobby Lobby’s owners should look at the US Constitution. There’s no litmus test for religion to hold public office. And there’s surely no mandate for a theocracy.
Also, they might want to review the 10 Commandments since they’re fond of stealing artifacts from other countries.
