The Staten Island Advance reports:
“After experiencing mild symptoms and a slight fever, Congresswoman Malliotakis, who is vaccinated, tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. She is quarantining at home and is feeling well,” said Malliotakis’ spokeswoman.
The spokeswoman told the Advance/SILive.com that Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/South Brooklyn) has not yet received a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The congresswoman has said that she is not anti-vaccine but is against mandatory vaccinations and has participated in and led several anti-mandate press conferences on Staten Island.
