Former senator and current Georgia gubernatorial candidate David Perdue’s (R) lawsuit challenging the 2020 election results failed on Thursday, after a judge found little to support it beyond “speculation, conjecture, and paranoia.”
Borrowing language originating from Miguel de Cervantes’s immortal novel, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert C.I. McBurney suggested that Perdue was tilting at windmills. “This quixotic journey will not take place,” McBurney wrote in an 8-page dismissal order.
