“We all know he’s so much more likely to lose the White House than anybody else running for president on our side of the aisle, so why would we want to go with that?
“He only remains where he is because everybody’s afraid of him. They’re afraid of him going after them, hurting their ambition, but as soon as you get the herd mentality going, it’s unstoppable.
“Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters, he’s not going to be the nominee. He’s going to try and intimidate people out of the race as long as he can.” – Former House Speaker Paul Ryan, in an interview today.
Speaking at the Robin Hood conference before billionaires Steve Cohen and Paul Tudor Jones went on stage, Ryan said he’s advising CEOs not to focus on ESG too much as he believes the GOP will win the majority.
“The next shoe to drop is to go after woke corporations,” he said.

DeSantis fighting Disney was “really good for him, from a political perspective,” Ryan said.
The American Conservative Union is now asking lawmakers vying for leadership positions to sign a pledge saying they won’t meet with “woke corporations like Walmart,” he said.

Oh, so @SpeakerRyan kept quiet & hid under his bed the past 6 yrs of Trump, and now he comes out of his bedroom to tell us Trump won’t be the nominee in 2024 & these are his top 3 picks? Why should we care what Paul Ryan thinks after he’s been missing in action these past 6 yrs? https://t.co/tBCfBYInvL
