Brian Brown: The Gays Are Stealing Our Independence

Today we celebrate America’s national independence. It’s not about celebrating the “Fourth of July,” it’s about honoring the wisdom and courage displayed by our founders in first declaring our independence from Britain and then fighting for eight years to secure it.

What makes America unique, exceptional, is that we are the only country on earth founded on the idea that our rights are inalienable, given to us by God, and not bestowed on us by a ruler or by government.

Sadly, in America today our rights are under assault and the left is stealing our independence. There is no element of the left more responsible for this than the radical LGBT lobby.

NOM is the nation’s leading group fighting for marriage and we have been for more than fifteen years.
