New Hampshire Public Radio reports:
Kelly Ayotte is officially back in campaign politics. The former U.S. Senator and New Hampshire Attorney General is announcing her campaign for governor Monday, aiming to succeed Gov. Chris Sununu when he leaves office in 2025.
Ayotte, whose last campaign for office was in 2016 – a U.S. Senate re-election bid she lost by fewer than a thousand votes statewide – says she wants to maintain that defense of the ‘Live Free or Die’ spirit in state government.
“I’m running for governor because New Hampshire is one election away from becoming Massachusetts – from becoming something we are not,” Ayotte said.

Ayotte made the announcement this morning on Fox News with the usual blather about “evil” Democrats, violent crime, and “disaster” Biden.
