Via email from hate group leader Brian Brown:
I’ve got a big announcement. NOM is today launching a major campaign to push back against the lies of the LGBT lobby and to reassert the truth of our beliefs and values on critical issues such as marriage, life and gender.
It’s called The NOT Campaign, and I believe it is the most exciting, potentially impactful campaign we have undertaken in several years.
The sexual radicals demanding ‘gay marriage’ prevailed by convincing many people, including activist judges, that compassion for same-sex couples should trump the constitution and that rejecting the redefinition of marriage was “anti-gay.”
This was a lie. Millions of Americans are left shaking their heads at the cultural carnage that now surrounds us.
Our messaging is powerful and will be delivered to Americans driving in communities via billboards on highways and roadways, and through digital billboard ads delivered when they are online.
A large billboard posted on a highway in a community like Jackson, MS will cost about $3,000 per month and will be seen by an average of 150,000 vehicles driving by each month. That’s a cost of only two cents per vehicle.
But because every donation will be matched, it will only cost us one cent per vehicle to reach people with a physical billboard.
Just think about the impact you can have. A donation of $500 will deliver The NOT Campaign messaging to 50,000 vehicles driving by one of our billboards! Someone who donates $1,500 will help us reach 150,000 drivers and their passengers!
I hope you share my excitement for this new campaign. We have established an overall budget of $1 million to launch the campaign and carry it into next year. Of this, we are seeking to raise $200,000 in the next two weeks.
