Via email from hate group leader Brian Brown:
Lawfare. That is what is happening to John Eastman and his family. All conservatives should be outraged and want to join with us to help him push back.
Dr. John Eastman is one of America’s foremost constitutional scholars. A true and trusted conservative, John has helped fight the left on countless issues of critical importance to our nation.
He’s battled in state and federal courts, including the US Supreme Court, on behalf of traditional marriage and the pro-life community, ending the invasion of illegal immigrants, against the IRS’ illegal targeting of conservative groups and pushing back against the tyrants who want to raise taxes and strip Americans of their freedoms and constitutional rights.
But in the eyes of the left, Dr. Eastman’s most unforgiveable action was to agree to represent President Trump who sought his help to lawfully challenge the 2020 election results.
For this “sin,” they are trying to have him disbarred so that he can no longer practice law, and radical prosecutors have just indicted him in Georgia. The despicable Jack Smith is also targeting him as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in his federal indictment of President Trump in the January 6th case.
They are trying to ruin the life of this good and decent man, one of the most accomplished conservative lawyers and scholars in America. But they are trying to do more than that.
They want to send a message to every other conservative lawyer in the country that they risk their reputation and very career if they ever dare to represent a conservative elected official again.
As a friend and former colleague of Dr. Eastman, I will not stand for this. John has asked me and a select few other accomplished friends and former colleagues to help him with a nationwide outreach effort to conservatives to spread the word about what is going on and help him raise the millions he will need for his legal defense.
We’ve created a dedicated website where conservatives across the country can go for updates, to post comments and to make a donation to help us fight. Please bookmark the site and check back frequently.
The liberal prosecutor in Fulton County, Fani Willis, is carefully orchestrating her attacks on John Eastman, President Trump, Rudy Giuilani and the others.
This week she planned for a televised “perp walk” in Atlanta where the three would be paraded before the judge to formally enter a plea, one after another – President Trump at 9:30am, Rudy Giuliani at 9:45am, John Eastman at 10:00am, and the other defendants to follow.
But John derailed her planned media moment when he wrote to the judge that he was formally entering a NOT GUILTY plea. President Trump did the same thing, as did most of the others.
“Former colleague.” That, I believe, is the first public acknowledgement that Eastman is no longer the chairman of NOM, a position he’d held since 2011. As I mentioned here recently, Eastman’s name has vanished from NOM’s website. As for Brown’s claim about a “perp walk” – no such event was planned. If only it had been. (Also Trump and his co-defendants surrendered two weeks ago.)
