Donald Trump is expected to take the witness stand on Nov. 6 in his civil fraud trial, the New York attorney general’s counsel said in court on Friday. The former president’s testimony has long been expected, though the exact timing of when it would happen remained unclear until now.
Trump’s adult children who have been part of his business while he served in the White House are also expected to be called as witnesses by the attorney general starting on Wednesday: Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump.
Earlier Friday, the judge presiding over the Trump trial ruled that Ivanka Trump can’t block a subpoena forcing her testimony.
