The New York Daily News reports:
A drunken driver was busted Friday after he rammed his SUV into the entrance of a Washington Heights subway station, police said. Miguel Delacruz-Martinez, 25, was driving near Broadway and W. 157th St. about 9:15 a.m. when his black Nissan Rogue hopped the curb and ended up on the sidewalk, cops said.
He continued driving down the sidewalk, angling toward the stairs leading down to the 157th St. station for the No. 1 train, witnesses told police. The front end of the SUV traveled down a few steps before it became wedged into the subway station entrance.
