Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw posted attacks on his Instagram Story against Fox News host Jesse Watters in response to a segment Watters aired implying Crenshaw unethically used his elected position to profit from stocks trades. Crenshaw called Watters, a “fucking hack” and “a fucking clown” for not confronting him to his face. Crenshaw told Watters to “get your facts straight” and accused him of being “desperate for clickbait.”
In a 4th Instagram Story post, Crenshaw’s attack took a more personal turn. Crenshaw: “Losers like Watters grew up with a silver spoon. His family is made up of well connected journalists and politicians. And for some reason, people are fooled into believing he’s some genuine blue-collar conservative. Yeah, he’s such a ‘conservative’ he cheated on his wife and then left her with twins while he went off with another Fox producer.”
