The Biden campaign on Saturday announced a staggering haul of $90 million in the month of March, buoyed by a major New York City fundraiser and another strong month of grassroots donations.
The campaign closed out the first quarter of 2024 having raised $187 million total, and it enters the second quarter of the year with $192 million in cash on hand, which it said was a record for any Democratic candidate at this point in the election cycle.
The fundraising haul outpaced what former President Trump’s campaign brought in during March, when his operation raised roughly $66 million.
