Judge Finds Trump In Criminal Contempt For 10th Time

The Washington Post reports:

Former president Donald Trump complained about his gag order before entering the courtroom. When asked about his former attorney Michael Cohen — who as an expected witness Trump isn’t allowed to talk about — Trump replied, “As you know, they’ve taken away my constitutional right so I’m not allowed to answer that question.”

“I find you in criminal contempt for the 10th time,” said Justice Juan Merchan minutes later, adding that he is concerned that Donald Trump has apparently not taken heed of his prior findings. “Going forward, this court will have to consider a jail sentence. The last thing I want to do is put you in jail.”
