Gaetz Crashes McCarthy Interview With Taunts [VIDEO]

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) crashed an interview by Kevin McCarthy at the Republican National Convention to taunt the former House Speaker. “What night are you speaking? Are you speaking tonight?” Gaetz said, getting in McCarthy’s face.

As the California Republican, who is at the RNC but not slated to speak, seemed to ignore his former colleague in the House, Gaetz was pulled back by another man. “If you took that stage you would get booed off of it,” Gaetz said after wiggling away from the restraint.

Gaetz led the successful move to oust McCarthy as speaker, after which McCarthy publicly accused him of using drugsand paying for sex with an underage woman.
