In an interview on Fox News, Laura Ingraham asked Trump, “Why do people not trust the upper echelon of the FBI at this point?”

“Well, they’ve had a bad period of time,” he replied. “I mean, they raided Mar-a-Lago.” Trump then reiterated his false claim that he was legally entitled to keep the documents. “I was allowed,” he continued. “The Presidential Records Act.”

“Now, with Biden, he really was convicted of that case,” Trump added, despite the fact Biden was never even indicted.
