Mediaite reports:
“I’d love to know why you choose and continue to choose to work with your children in business and politics,” Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice asked. “And do you have any advice for people about working with your kids?”
“Well, I’ve always liked it,” the ex-president replied. “Like, Ivanka was great. She could’ve done anything. Great student. Beautiful girl. Beautiful everything. She’s a perfect person. Worked hard.”
“And she didn’t want something like the United Nations secretary. I wanted her to do that. I said, you would be a great ambassador to the United Nations, United Nations secretary. There’d be nobody to compete with her.”
The Guardian reports:
“She said, daddy, I don’t want to do that, I just want to help people get jobs. She would go around – not a glamorous job – but would go around to see Wal-Mart, to see Exxon, to see all these big companies to hire people and she had hired, like, millions of people during the course of her stay.”
The co-founder of Moms for Liberty, Tiffany Justice, sitting on stage with Trump, did not challenge his extraordinary suggestions that Ivanka had the requisite experience to serve at the UN or that she was responsible for hiring millions of people.
In 2019, Trump famously lied that Ivanka had “created” five million jobs. Fox hosts did not challenge that claim either.
