Omaha’s NBC affiliate reports:
The Nebraska Supreme Court ruled Friday on state ballot items regarding abortion and school vouchers. They said that all three issues regarding abortion and school choice will be appearing on the November ballot. The Justices said Friday that the Abortion Rights petition did not violate the “single subject” rule. After Friday’s decision, the ballot is now finalized for Nebraskans to vote in November.
The Christian Post reports:
Nebraska voters will vote this November on a ballot initiative to overturn a legislative measure allowing students to attend private schools using vouchers. In a statement last Thursday, the Office of Nebraska Secretary of State Robert Enven announced that the “Private Education Scholarship partial referendum” qualifies for the general election ballot.

One part of Linehan’s voucher bill we need to talk about: it lets a company manage the funds and keep *MILLIONS* every year for “administrative costs.” It is maximum grift. Why would an organization have $2.5 million in expenses to simply disperse scholarship money? #neleg pic.twitter.com/3tTjFbsIWA

NE State Sen. Lou Ann Linehan (R) complains filibusters of anti-trans bills made her miss her grandson’s preschool graduation.
