COPS: CPAC Youth Pastor Had At Least 10 Victims

Michigan Live reports:

An Ypsilanti-area youth pastor is accused of forcing a girl to perform oral sex on him and using a social media app to arrange payment for photographs of children, according to police.

Zachary Joseph Radcliff, 29, allegedly used Snapchat to arrange meetups with children where he would pay them for videos and photographs, Sgt. Gilberto Oliveria with the Michigan State Police told 14A-1 District Court Magistrate Elisha Fink during a swear-to hearing,

From last week’s report:

Radcliff was arraigned on two charges of aggravated “child sexually abusive activity,” two charges child sexually abusive activity and six charges of using the internet to communicate with another to commit a crime. He is facing up to 25 years in prison.

Radcliff is a church leader at Oakwood Church, confirmed Victoria Burton-Harris, Washtenaw County’s chief assistant prosecuting attorney.

The 29-year-old performed his song “I’ll Stand” at the Conservative Political Action Conference in 2019, according to a release from Liberty University, Radcliff’s alma mater. He attended the Virginia school from 2013 to 2017, according to the university.

Newsweek reports:

Oakwood Church, where Radcliff worked as both a music and youth director, expressed shock and heartbreak over the allegations in a public statement.

The church wrote that Radcliff, who is also the son of the senior pastor, was first suspended with pay on October 3. After further investigation, he was fired on October 12.

“The information we received was shocking,” the church wrote. “This information has ripped our hearts apart. The safety and protection of the individuals in our church is what is paramount to us.”

Last week commenters were pouring into his Facebook page with accusations of coverup by his church. CPAC has deleted his performance video from their website and from their YouTube channel. They have also deleted the above-linked press release: “Page Not Found.” Oops.
