Flynn Predicts Violence At Ballot Counting Locations

USA Today reports:

Some prominent pro-Trump Republicans are already saying supporters will go to ballot counting locations if the winner of the presidential election isn’t clear on Election Day, Nov. 5.

Former Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Trump’s first White House national security advisor who played a central role in 2020 efforts to overturn the election results, said on Oct. 20 on right-wing podcast American Truth Project that the results should be known on election night.

Otherwise, Flynn warned, “I do feel like people are going to go to those locations where there’s counting and there could actually be violence, because people are so upset after 2020.”

Media Matters reports:

Key Trump ally Mike Flynn suggested to followers that Dominion Voting System machines should be destroyed like tea was during the Boston Tea Party. “Like dumping British tea into Boston harbor, these machines should be melted down and turned into prison bars!”

Flynn has also recently latched onto the conspiracy theory that a Pennsylvania ABC affiliate mistakenly showing test election results on-screen could mean that the election is rigged for Vice President Kamala Harris.

He wrote: “Her campaign and the media are keep the ‘polls’ and this race ‘close’ so they can plausibly deny the victory to trump. A total set up. What is going on here ABC???”

Trump regularly promises rally crowds that Flynn will once again have a job in his administration.
