Tesla CEO Elon Musk is offering $47 to every registered voter who refers others to sign a petition supporting the First and Second Amendments. This initiative, launched by Musk’s Elon’s America PAC, seeks to gather one million signatures from voters in key swing states. These states include Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina. The deadline to participate is October 21.
Read the full article. Of note, Musk is using a tweet from Nazi-aligned extremist Jack Posobiec to promote his offer. Far-right Malaysian troll Ian Miles Cheong, who has never once been to the US, is also pushing the offer to his 1.2 million followers. Rather obviously, the purpose of the petition is to collect data on potentially unregistered Americans. And as Fox News reports below, Musk is also paying $30/hour to voter registration workers.
