Feds Raid Home And Business Of Prominent FL Cultist

Fort Myers’s NBC affiliate reports:

Multiple law enforcement agencies are at the home of a prominent Collier County businessman and controversial conservative activist. Law enforcement, including federal officials, were seen going in and out of the home of Alfie Oakes on Santa Cruz Court in the Villages of Monterey community in North Naples and an agricultural packing plant in Immokalee.

Federal agents from the Defense Criminal Investigative Service were seen at the packing plant. The DCIS investigates cases of fraud, bribery, and corruption, including cyber crimes and computer intrusions. At Oakes’ home, multiple law enforcement officers were seen coming and going in unmarked cars this morning and afternoon.

The Daily Mail reports:

In 2021, Oakes paid for two buses of Trump supporters to go to the insurrection. Although no official connection has been made, this raid comes as a lawsuit against Oakes accused him of failing to pay back about $2.8 million in loans, according to NBC.

In 2021, Seed to Table came under fire when footage emerged of the store being filled with un-masked shoppers during the raging pandemic. Even though the county had a mask mandate in place, the store had a sign out front that states customers did not need to wear a face covering.

There will surely be an update to this story.
