Two Found Dead In Landing Gear Of JFK-FLL Plane

NBC News reports:

Two people were found dead in the landing gear compartment of a JetBlue plane in Florida during routine post-flight inspections on Monday, the company has said.

“Tragically, both individuals were deceased. At this time, the identities of the individuals and the circumstances surrounding how they accessed the aircraft remain under investigation,” the company said in a statement early Tuesday.

JetBlue said the plane had most recently flown to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport from New York JFK Airport with the flight number 1801. No details were given on the two dead people or how they gained access to the plane.
