GOP Rep To File Censure Resolution Against Jasmine Crockett For Calling Greg Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels”

A GOP lawmaker is moving to have Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, formally rebuked by the House of Representatives for appearing to mock Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s disability. Rep. Randy Weber, R-Texas, Crockett’s fellow delegation member, told Fox News Digital he would introduce a censure resolution against the Democratic lawmaker imminently.

“The story of our great governor of Texas is one of unwavering resilience and perseverance. Meanwhile, the actions of Jasmine Crockett – stooping to vile levels of discrimination and despicable political attacks – are nothing short of reprehensible,” Weber told Fox News Digital.

Crockett made the comments during an event held by the Human Rights Campaign over the weekend. “Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there – come on now! And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, honey,” Crockett said.

Weber first appeared here in 2014 when he introduced a bill to ban federal recognition of same-sex marriages. Two weeks later he admitted that his bill was authored by the Family Research Council.

In 2017, Weber appeared here when he sobbed during a prayer in which he begged God to forgive America for the abominations of abortion and same-sex marriage.

Weber has called President Obama a “socialist dictator” and once posted a now-deleted tweet that compared Obama to Hitler. Not deleted is his tweet saying that in Obama’s case, POTUS stands for “Poor Obama Trashed U.S.”

Days after comparing Obama to Hitler, Weber demanded that CNN fire its then-reporter Jim Acosta after Trump shouted Acosta down at a White House press event.

Weber occasionally hosts hate group leader Tony Perkins’ Christian nationalist podcast.
