MAGA election conspiracy theorist and MyPillow founder Mike Lindell has eyes on what could be his next gig. And it isn’t selling pillows. Lindell on Monday teased a run for Minnesota governor, a race that could see him face off against popular incumbent Tim Walz, who is said to be sizing up a third term in the post.
“I live here in Minnesota,” Lindell said of his potential opponent. “Everywhere I go, no one wants Tim Walz. They don’t.”
Lindell’s announcement, made Monday on his eponymous “Mike Lindell Show” which is situated in his media network, isn’t the first time he’s flirted with a run for the state’s top job. He previously considered a run for the governorship in 2022 — at Trump’s urging — he said. Lindell also weighed a run in 2018.
